Suncadia’s Brewfest still flows this weekend

Suncadia’s Brewfest, coinciding with the Upper Kittitas County resort’s Harvest Festival, continues Saturday and Sunday this weekend, with a special brewmaster dinner set for Saturday evening, according to an announcement.
This is the last weekend for the 2008 Suncadia Harvest Festival centered at the historic Nelson dairy farm.
Those wanting detailed information and schedules for the Harvest Festival and the Brewfest can go online to: www.suncadia.com. Click on one of two of the main menu items on the home page, then click on “Resort Overview,” then scroll down to “Event Calendar.”
The Brewfest hours of operation are noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event for adults features a variety of seasonal brews from local and regional breweries.
Admission is $10 per person and includes commemorative tasting mug.
Breweries and specific brews featured at the Brewfest are: Red Hook Harvest Ale, Widmer Oktoberfest, Pyramid Hefeweizen, Pyramid Broken Ale, Pyramid Thunderhead IPA, Roslyn Brookside Pale Lager, Deschutes Hop Trip and Mac and Jack Black Cat Porter.
Also featured at the Brewfest are Chicago Dogs from Big Ben.
The Brewmaster dinner with Pyramid Brewmeister John Wardlow is set for 6:30 p.m. Sat., Oct. 18 at The Inn at Suncadia. Cost is $37 per person, excluding tax and gratuity Call (509) 649-6402 for reservations.
